Check out our video above for a day in Dupuy’s life, and read on for tips on how to invest in your career growth with truly mobile technology, like an Always on, Always Connected PC powered by the Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ Mobile Compute Platform.
Elodie is a mother of two young daughters and a pioneer in an industry that’s notoriously male-dominated. “Anything is possible if you just change the rules,” Dupuy said. Paving your own way requires tech that can keep up, like the Lenovo Yoga C630.
“Full In Partners is a traditional growth-equity firm, yes. But it’s also very untraditional in that it’s run by two moms.”
After working in the VC space for a decade and holding titles of Vice President and Principal at some of the country’s most elite institutions, Elodie decided to step away and launch her own fund. For her, the decision was an easy one. She wanted to start a family, and she wanted to manage her time so that she could integrate her family life with her work.
The Yoga C630 is also her trusty travel companion. Dupuy flies hundreds of thousands of miles each year and needs to stay connected. She needs a PC that not only gives her a 4G LTE connection virtually everywhere she goes, she also needs a battery that can keep up.
Once she lands, she hits the ground running with meetings and presentations. Again, her Yoga C630 has her back.
On a recent flight from New York to San Francisco, she realized that she had left her laptop charger at home. “I immediately thought I was going to waste the next six hours,” she said. “But I was actually able to work the entire flight on a quarter of my battery. I didn’t have to dim my monitor or anything. I was shocked.”
Thanks to the Snapdragon 850 Mobile Compute Platform, the Yoga C630 has multi-day battery life and a design that’s thin, light, and stays cool without fans. It’s the best of your smartphone in a PC.
Long haul flights and in-air work sessions aside, Dupuy’s first priority remains staying connected to her family. When she’s home in New York, she makes sure everyone eats dinner together. All the devices are powered down, school projects are discussed, and food is devoured. But later, after the girls are in bed, Dupuy relaxes in her library and prepares for the next day.
“A friend once asked if I ever use my Yoga C630 to do something fun, like read,” she said. “But I didn’t understand what they were talking about. To me, my work is fun.”
